Don't really matter who this is but I've seen most of the wrestlers throughout wv. I don't see anyone even close to white.

Not totally sure about 110. White is great just see Perdue giving him a match. But 102 and 155 have a couple of kids who Will make it interesting

Thompson will run away with 155 and Freeman won't have any trouble with Hartley at 102 and White will totally dominate 110 !!!
Re: Open to hear about odds on whos going to win at WSAZ's in each weight
Anyone know what happened to Short at 84?

Sometimes what people don't know only make them look extra smart in the end. Some people still think middle school leads to division 1 scholarships. I set and watch all these pee wee and middle school superstars fight for a spot on the podium in high school year after year. I just hope all these kids feed into a good high school program because I see several of the middle school superstars who are looking very average and on the other hand I see several kids who were just average making their name. Baxter don't let these guys get you all shook up. As long as the kids are having fun and giving 100% that's all that matters!

Short is having issues with his hand.

He has an injury keeping him out. Not getting into the "lol" crap none of these fellas deserve to be laughed at. Work way too hard for that stuff. All I know is that the two boys from poca are just like the other top kids, they work their butts off and are not to be laughed at. Can't wait for Saturday night about 8:30!mattman wrote:Anyone know what happened to Short at 84?

so your saying they are gonna actually make the kids wrestle the finals matches? I thought they were gonna hand out the plaques to the favorites?WrestleWV0130 wrote:He has an injury keeping him out. In all seriousness. These top seeded kids are all top notch wrestlers. There's just a few that are elite.
Re: Open to hear about odds on whos going to win at WSAZ's in each weight
my man you can't be elite until your standing on top of the podium at the Olympic Games or NCAA division 1 championships. I guarantee you when Brands recruited Spencer Lee, he never one time asked oh, what place did you get at your middle school state championship tournament! Their just kids buddy. Let em wrestle and have fun. We know they will all be at a wrestling tournament with their friends and family. They won't be out getting into trouble. That's a good thingoroyos wrote:In all seriousness. These top seeded kids are all top notch wrestlers. There's just a few that are elite.

you are right. Nothing wrong with talking about it though. These are people's opinions. If anyone gets offended by these opinions they shouldn't be reading.mattman wrote:my man you can't be elite until your standing on top of the podium at the Olympic Games or NCAA division 1 championships. That was nice of you to say about Justin; however, he does not see himself as being "great" and definitely not "elite". We tell him, and he understands, that he has done fairly well so far and that he has a long way to go and a heck of a lot to learn.
There are several very good wrestlers at 110. It should be a good tournament with many good matches.

Some #1 seeds will lose and place lower. Happens all the time.

Wrestling 4 life not bad on your predictions
78 Freeman -- Champ
84 Bartley -- Champ
90 Wright -- Champ
95 Raike -- Champ
102 Freeman -- Champ
110 White -- Champ
116 Mano -- 2nd (in finals)
123 Ball -- 4th place
128 Adams -- 5th place
135 Kesterson -- 2nd place (in finals)
145 Quiocho -- Champ
155 Thompson -- 2nd place (in finals)
171 Covert -- 2nd place (in finals)
190 Kelley -- Champ
285 Cook -- 2nd place (in finals)
You got 8 out of 15 champ correct (53%)
However, 13 out of 15 picks reached at least the finals (87%)
Guess you do know what you are talking about!!
