2018 Independence Middle School Duals

Date: December 8, 2018
Location: Independence Middle School, 800 Independence Rd, Sophia, WV 25921
Weigh-ins: 8:00-9:00am. Wrestling: Begins at 9:30am. Entry Fee: $150/per team
Format: Dual format with 16 teams split into 4 pools of 4 on 4 mats with the winner of each pool wrestling for 1st place in a bracket format. Remaining teams will be re-pooled with corresponding finishers from other pools. All wrestlers will get 5 matches. Extra wrestlers will be filled in on other teams if possible. Awards will be given to the top 3 teams.
Directions: Take Exit 42 South off I-64 onto Robert C. Byrd Dr. (WV-16 South) towards Sophia (~5 miles). At the stop light in Sophia, turn left onto E. Main St and drive approximately 1/2 mile then turn right onto Independence/Coal City Road. School is approx. 1.5 miles on the right.
