Injury time

Over the course of my sons wrestling career I have noticed more and more the wrestlers, not the referee calling injury time. Particularly when a wrestler finds himself on his back or in threat of being turned. In one instance a kid called injury time, I asked the ref what was wrong with him as he just went to his corner for a drink and a breather. The ref replied he isn't a doctor. The scream rule is the same thing. Sure you may be awarded the 1 point but it is a situation that I would like to see remedied with a little Jiu jitsu or MMA rule in place. If you scream or call injury time the match resumes in the exact position in which it was halted. Its hardly fair when a wrestler has another stuck that the other wrestler has such a relatively consequence free means of escaping. Just my thoughts...

I am with you on resuming the match in the same position it was halted. I didn't see much of that stuff this year, but have seen it in the past quite often.
