Freestyle wrestling

My son (age 7) said he would like to try freestyle wrestling but the only two things I see for freestyle wrestling is the state tournament and the musselman tournament. We have another obligation on April 9th so that is out of the question for musselman and he's not old enough to compete in the state freestyle tournament! Anyone know of any other freestyle tournaments or clinics coming up anytime soon?

Last year prior to the freestyle tournament they held some clinics at Parkersburg South to teach more about freestyle. I would watch for posts on here for that.

Go to trackwrestling.com and go to search function and check the surrounding states. There are several events coming up these next few months. Not sure where you live but there are a few clubs in the Huntington/Charleston area that practice a little freestyle in the off season.
