RESULTS FROM GUARD DUELS

IT'S SEEMS WEIRD THAT THE BIGGEST TOURNEY IN THE STATE CAN'T SEEM TO POST RESULTS ! THEY MAY RANK # 1 IN TOURNEY SIZE, BUT THEY RANK LAST IN POSTING RESULTS !

I am referring to individual results.

Problem is they didn't document individual results. I was scorekeeper for Braxton County and all they asked for was team dual scores. The table scorers didn't keep individual score sheets with wrestler match-ups. For every dual we were in either me or the other team's scorekeeper sat at the table and made sure the score clock workers got the score right.

Sadly it looks like results submitted for WV Duals were just team scores too.

All the individual WV Duels results were posted as they happened by Brent Sam's.

And results were sent to the Charleston Gazette which was Interested in Riverside and Herbert Hoover and published results:

I just looked on the scores page. A post in the forum is nice, but eventually those threads will be buried on the forum. Thanks for the info tho. I was curious about these.

Many of the table workers were coming from other counties. When these counties would not let their schools attend on Friday it forced the teams to supply a score keeper from each team to work the tables. Only the team scores were reported to the main table for pooling reasons.
Considering the tournament director passed away a month ago and schools were cancelled throughout the state on Friday I considered the Guard duals a great success. Coach Vincent and his crew from Oak Hill did a great job of picking up the baton and getting it all organized in around a month.

The results are of the wv duals...
We are looking for the Beckley Army National Guard as well..... only finding team results... just saying. Not complaining
