Congratulations to Noah Hodges from Grafton for getting his 200th win and becoming a 4x Regional Champ. Noah had a dislocation of his elbow in late December but has fought back to try and make a go of it at states. Good luck to him and all of the other wrestlers!!

Congratulations to Noah and my follow up comments are not meant to be negative to this young man in any way.

200 wins in 4 years (while losing part of a season to injury) means that Grafton is wrestling a 55+ match per year schedule. Some of the coaches and officials who regularly contribute to wv mat have been vocal that dual tournaments and multi day bracketed tournaments are not the way to go if we are going to grow the sport. They contend we need more duals so that the average fan and new fans can attend and leave in 90 minutes.
