It looks like last weeks #1 Cook is registered at 220 and #2 Kirby seems to be missing from the bracket all together. I hope the young man is alright. This really changes the whole complexion of this class.

I agree 100% Mattman! If you watch these kids that wrestle this way, when they do get in a close match or find themselves down, it is hard for them to find that extra gear. Not sure that he qualifies as a dark horse being a regional champion, but Sam Heath from Independence is really peaking at the right time. The kid is an absolute cardio machine. For a first year wrestler, he is doing great!

Does anyone know who won the three way wrestle off at 126? All three are great competitors and regardless of who won, they should be on the podium next weekend. Speaks to the depth that they have developed in Coal City!

Don't sleep on Heath at heavyweight. The kid keeps getting better. Can wait to see the regionals with him Cales and Thornton from Nicholas. All three may wind up on the podium this year!

I was just telling someone last weekend how impressive they were at the Guard Duals. I think they fill every class except 220 and all of them are tough on top.

I think that 2 AA/A Region 4 heavyweights, Cales of Greenbrier West and Heath of Indy will be near the top of the rankings before too long. I know Heath has had a few quality wins, albeit out of state, and it appears Cales has not had many matches yet (not sure if he is injured).
