Should have arguably had 3 backs, a locked hands and a takedown,,, makes 10. However,,, it ended 4-3. Last point scored was the stall call. Great match, great kids,,, just clarified a statement from earlier that said the match was won on the penalty for locked hands.

The DeBee vs Hissam match wasn't decided by a penalty point being awarded. The last point scored was against DeBee for stalling. The score should have been more like 10-3 anyway. In addition, methaney placed 4th at the university tournament that DeBee took second at.

I might be a lil biased, but I believe if voting coaches do diligent research, A/AA- 132# rankings should change considerably.

The handshake at the end of a match is respect between the competitors. Shaking hands with the coach is irrelevant. Read Dr. Welkers memo on it. There was also an unattached wrestler that won the tournament at his weight in Cameron. Took out the #7 and #4 ranked wrestlers. Overall,,, good tournament and congrats to all who competed today.

Don't know the full results, but 132 was impressive.

Check A/AA region 1,,, 138# and then explain the ten rankings, LOL. I like it though,,, it was a nice motivator to a certain individual this morning.

A/AA Rankings have some weight classes that look spot on and some look like names were drawn from a hat, lol. Anybody see any unranked, darkhorse wrestlers?

That is pretty crazy. Almost seems like the regional tournament would be bigger and better than the state tournament. I don't know, but maybe it's time to combine A/AA with AAA and do a sectional tournament to qualify for regionals and then on to states???

John Marshall, Oak Glen are the only two I know for sure,,, years past have seen... Calhoun, Fairmont East, McGuffy, Buckannon Upsher. Haven't heard anything offical yet, but I'd like to hear who all will be there also.
