It is my understanding that when we first register as officials, we go through a background check. But it may be a one time thing.

That is changing soon. We will start going through background checks every 3 years.

Officials apply online with the WVSSAC. There are a list of requirements that must be met in order for an official to be selected.

Some choose to apply. Some do not.

12 are selected from those that apply.

Will they come call your regular season matches and regionals as well?

Prior to this year.....East Bank kids have wrestled for Cedar Grove for years. I know they feed the same high school....so the circumstances are a little different.
