106 George Smith (PP) dec. Tucker Windland, 2-0

120 Mikey Shamblin (PS) p. Scotty Wilcox, 3:57
126 Landon Flinn (PS) won via forfeit
132 T. J. Huffman (PS) p. Jeffrey Simpkins, 0:40
138 Jacob Roub (PP) won via forfeit
145 Ryan Taylor (PS) p. Chris Lush, 2:42
152 Zane Hinzman (PS) p. Miles Williams, 2:39
160 Andrew Roach (PP) dec. Nate Santiago, 4-3
170 T. J. Lambiotte (PS) won via forfeit

195 Justin Allman (PS) p. James Patte, 0:35
220 Tannor Hill (PP) won via forfeit
285 Louden Haga (PS) p. Brian Gillespie, 2:35

Not that it makes a difference in the win but Safford wrestles for Point. I believe the correct score should be South 54 - Point 21.

Always good to visit and talk with you coach John. Sorry to see you guys leave AAA next year. Hopefully the duals will continue between our schools. You always have your guys ready to wrestle! The prayer before the match had a lot of meaning and hopefully touched lives!

Great to catch up with you as well! A lot of great wrestling last night.

We (Point Pleasant Wrestling Community) really appreciate what Ripley did last night. CLASS ACT! This is what wrestling is all about. Having all three teams join together was a nice touch. Thank you again Coach Smith and the Ripley Wrestling Community.

I will take all the blame for that one, and I think the fine folks at Point Pleasant would know I would never do that on purpose (especially since Grant's stepmom has been a friend of mine for about 15 years!).

I asked Paula to send me a picture of the scorebook, and told her I'd submit the results. Well, I was typing them in on my phone, went to copy them to send to Paula fir proofreading, hit the wrong thing, and overwrote it with my mom's shopping list. Aaaaggghhhh!

I hurriedly tried to put everything back in my phone, and I didn't catch it the second time. So please accept my apologies for that, and also for reporting the wrong score. I guess long-distance results reporting didn't work as well as I thought it would! Lol!

I saw the pre-match pictures. What a wonderful gesture. Matt Smith is class all the way.
