Congrats. Do not get discouraged if wrestlers do not have very good records the first few years. It takes time to lay the foundation for others and you'll probably be better citizens for it. I never had a winning record but learned so much about myself. I fell in love with a sport that is still strong after 43 years. Taught me many life lessons if you let it and have good coaches.

Who knows? Man might have a few ringers down there now. Something is going on all of a sudden for them to say "Lets have a wrestling team".
Maybe the father of a few top notch wrestling twins transferred into the area?
Who would have guessed WVU would get a new coach and bring a young son to University HS???
Anything is possible.
Follow all teams. It is fun.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmm.
Man's coach is named McCoy. Man's last regional entry was back in 2006 when another McCoy placed third in the states.
I bet Man has 12 Hatfields coming out on the team along with another McCoy..
GOOD LUCK MAN HIGH SCHOOL. Build your team. Grow the sport. Set an example for WV's capital city.

Fairly certain that Man's coach, Tim McCoy, is the same one that coached Man HS and Gilbert HS in the past. He's an experienced coach. He had a state runner up at Gilbert in 2005. He ran a youth team in the 90s in Logan/Man and his nephew was Man's last state place winner. His son was also a state place winner for Gilbert. He's a good "man" and glad to see him back in the coaching ranks.

And my guess is he'll have several kids out for wrestling for the first time. Sounds like a good match for an experienced coach as he is to start a program. Especially the new kids to wrestling will need his and others support.
