Mt. State Clash

Information pertaining to this years Mt. State Clash on December 29 and 30 2022.

We will once again being running a split session on both days.
Day 1
Morning session
Weigh ins at 7:30 am
Wrestling at 9:00 am

Afternoon session
Weigh ins at 1:30
Wrestling at 3:00

There will be no weigh ins on day 2.
Morning Session start 9:00 am
Afternoon session start 3:00 pm

There will be a base plus 3 weight allowance do to teams wrestling 0n 12/28/22 . Please have your weigh in sheets ready when you are called to the scale.
Entry fee is 200.00 per team this includes JV teams. Please have entry fee paid on or before the day of the tournament.
Teams may bring extra wrestlers within reason but we will not guarantee they will get matches and we will not hold up the tournament to wrestle exhibition matches.

THERE IS NO OUTSIDE FOOD DRINKS, OR COOLERS PERMITTED IN THE SCHOOL. NO EXEPTIONS. PLEASE LET YOUR PARENT KNOW SO THAT THIS DOES NOT BECOME AN ISSUE.

ADMISSION IS 5.00 PER PERSON. CHILDREN UNDER 5 WILL BE ADMITTED FOR FREE.
EACH TEAM WILL RECIEVE 3 COACHES PASSES, IF YOU ARE BRINGING A JV TEAM YOU WILL BE PERMITTED 2 ADDITIONAL PASSES. ALL PASSES WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO CERTIFIED BOARD APPROVED COACHES.

PLEASE CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE STILL ATTENDING VIA EMAIL OR ON THIS THREAD BY 12/15/22 SO THAT I CAN GET THE POOLS POSTED AND PUT OUT TO ALL OF THE COACHES.

WE HAD A COUPLE TEAMS DROP OUT THIS WEEK SO IF ANYONE IS STILL LOOKING FOR A TOURNAMENT WE HAVE A COUPLE OPENINGS.

We currently have a power outage at the school. Mon Power is currently working on installing a new transformer and our maintenance department is working to make sure the electrical systems at the school were not damaged.

The Clash is still on for tomorrow but we might have to push back the start time. Please pass the word around and I’ll be sending emails out to as many as I can over the next couple hours.

I will be updating here on this thread throughout the day.

Power has been restored and start times will be as posted. Everyone travel safely
