Hoke Poe

Supposedly committed to WVU. Much needed upper weight commit. Takes most of the sting of not landing Wright. I actually like Poe more but of course have a soft spot for the WV boys.
Nice get. Flynn is building it

After watching this kid wrestle at Fargo, he is going to be a full sized 184. Having Brody Conley at 174 and Rune Lawrence at 197 as practice partners he definitely has the ability and potential to be a solid recruit.

I agree with Poe. He’ll be a big 184. Some sites have him as a 197lber. You think Lawrence can make 197? He wrestled 220 last year. I assumed he was going to be a HW. If he could go 197 then I’d like to see wvu go after Kehler.

Hoke Poe will be 184 and Rune will be 197. Both are big guys, but they are not big enough to go 197 and HWT. Keep in mind Braxton Amos and Noah Adams both wrestled 220 in high school and 197 in college. I would suspect WVU to make a big push for Brock Kehler.

Noah barely weighed 200 pounds in high school when he wrestled 220. He went 220 to help the team. He won at 220 because he was a bad dude. He could have been 195 his senior year.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

I’d love to see WVU get Kehler but Rune is huge. I’m sure he could suck down to 197 but how affective would he be? Let the boy lift and eat.
If he can make it easy then great. Add Kehler and the upper weights would be set. I just don’t see it happening. Poe 197. Taylor 184/174 depending on how Conley grows. Imo
Need some 125/133 guys now.
