Good luck to all of you young men representing our state today. So far so good. Everyone is wrestling well and you are showing the rest of the nation we can wrestle in this tiny state

From Marion County (and Next Level Wrestling)

106: Cole Laya - (sophomore 106) All-American will wrestle in consilation semis on Sunday. Lost 1 to 0 in semis to nationally ranked wrestler from Texas.

113: Brock Whorton (sophomore 113) went 5 and 2 losing one point match in blood round. Significant win over Oregon State Champion.

145: Kyle Elliot (Junior 145) went 3 and 2 with close last round loss.

Fairmont Senior had good showing with Booth, Fazenbaker, and Masters also and Sure somebody will fill in details on these great young men.

Cam Moore had a tough draw but lost in blood round wrestling through a serious ankle injury but none the less wrestled with extreme competitiveness and dropping a competitive match to the 1 seed early in tourney.

Report I received on Justin Allman. He lost in the semis 3-2 and wrestled a kid he beat earlier 10-4 in the semis of the consolations. He was leading 5-1 when he injured his knee and continued to wrestle and lost in OT. Forfeited for 6th place. Will have knee checked back in Parkersburg.

Did neither Josh Humphreys nor Jackson Henson wrestle in the NHSCA tournament this past weekend in VA Beach?

Neither participated in VA, but some wrestlers are going to TOC and Fargo.

Fargo is where the best of the best go!
Just placing in this tournament is an outstanding achievement!
My club is having about 30 kids training everyday for this Jr Nationals tournament and if you really want to get recognition
This is the tournament to go

Though I know how good Fargo is (I wish I would've went to it when I was in school), kids will "really get recognition" from both Flo and NHSCA too. No matter which tourney you go to that is nationally recognized-TOC, Flo, NHSCA, Fargo, JR Nats, Super 32, etc-you will get some attention. Are some better, more than likely. But wrestling (and doing well) in any of the aforementioned tourneys will help you get looked at!

Good luck to all!!

And huge shout to all of the place winners at both NHSCA and Flo!
