Kolat to Navy

Postby mscoach57 » Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:04 pm

Will be fun to watch. Hovis is the most recent blue chip recruit so he isn’t starting with a powerhouse. It will be interesting.
+ He is not limited to 9.9 scholarships
- No redshirts
- No transfers
- NA won’t accept marginal grades or test scores
+ If everyone buys in he can create something very special in that environment.

I wish him the best. His men are putting more than their toes on the red/green line for 4 years. They’re putting their lives on the line for all of us after graduation.

Very exciting times up here at USNA!

On a side note, any coaches that have kids interested and want to talk about the school/life/career...I'd be more than happy to talk to them about it as I graduated, went to the fleet, and now I get the pleasure of being back and teaching (and being one of the Officer Representatives)! If they are still interested, I can send their info to Coach Kolat and the rest of our staff.
